Pocket Millionaire

Update: Scott Luchetti has written a free Question Writer application which allows you to easily write question files for the game.
All the drama and excitement of the hit TV quiz show in the palm of your hand! Pocket Millionaire gives you a chance to test your knowledge and nerves in a bid to win a million.
Do you have what it takes to answer fifteen questions in a row to become a Pocket Millionaire...?
Unlimited Questions!
Pocket Millionaire comes with a set of around 75 questions on the theme of the Pocket PC, so you can find out just how much of an expert you actually are on your device!
These questions are stored by default in questions.pm, which you can find in \My Documents\Pocket Millionaire on your device. That's not all, however...
While most trivia games are limited by the number of questions in their database, with Pocket Millionaire it's a simple matter to add your own. To make things even easier, the game reads questions from standard plain text files, so just about any old text editor will do!
Better yet, Scott Luchetti has written a free Question Writer application which allows you to easily write question files for the game.
Better yet, it's easy to write your own! Here's some ideas:
-
Got a subject you're interested in (e.g. sport, computing)? Why not write a round of questions for it and share it with the world?
-
Got a test coming up? Why not revise the fun way?
-
Edutainment. Want to educate your children whilst entertaining them? Pocket Millionaire is the answer!
For information on creating your own questions for the game, see the Writing your own questions section in the game manual or, for more details, the Questions format page. Don't worry - all you need is a standard text editor such as Windows Notepad.
If you would like to share some questions that you have found or created with the rest of the world, please send them to me via e-mail (either attached, or in the main body of the mail), or using the Submit Questions form. Before sending them, please ensure that your questions are laid out in the appropriate format.
Question files submitted will be made available on the Questions page, although for obvious reasons, there aren't very many at the moment!
Fully customisable!
Don't like the way the game looks? Want to design your own theme for the game? It's easy! See the Readme.txt file included with the downloads for details on the image files used within Pocket Millionaire, where they are used in the game, and how to edit them.
What's more, for the ultimate in customisation, you can even replace the sounds with your own choices! (For details on the sound files, consult the Removing files to save space section of the manual).
If you create a theme that you think deserves a wider audience, please zip it up and send it to me! I'll make it available to download, and you will of course be credited.

Your help needed!
Not only does Pocket Millionaire need questions, it could also do with improving! If you're a programmer who fancies a laugh at some badly written eVB code, or if you would like to convert the game into a proper eVC++ application, then you can find the source code on the download page.
